Speaking with the Passed

What would make this world into a Utopia?

A machine that allows us to speak to people who are no longer here. People that have passed away.

Why?

What led me to choose this idea is the observation that many people base their lives on ideas or beliefs inherited from others, whether those ideas are positive or negative. Much of this stems from legacies, traditions, or perceived birthrights. I believe that if a machine were invented allowing individuals to communicate using the spinal fluid of the deceased, it could bring about profound peace for many. Once the fluid is used, it cannot be replenished, emphasizing the finality of the connection. Numerous individuals seeking closure could finally attain it, those who misinterpret the messages of their idols could receive guidance, families left in disarray could regain direction from departed patriarchs or matriarchs, and communities led astray could reconnect with their elders for wisdom. However, there is a downside to this concept; misuse of such knowledge could lead to nefarious purposes. Nonetheless, I firmly believe that the benefits of facilitating connections and resolving long-standing mysteries outweigh the potential drawbacks. It would enable people to piece together the puzzle of their existence and heritage, fostering a greater sense of self and unity among the masses. Trey L.
