Mushroom Utopia

What would make this world into a Utopia?

Mushroom Utopia

Why?

The Mushroom Utopia is a place of euphoria, one in which all its citizens are constantly feeling the bliss of psychedelic trips. The planet of mushroom, is, as the name suggests, one large mushroom. Originally, the planet took the shape of a near-sphere, but in the process of making it a utopia, it and all of it’s inhabitants were transformed in to mushroom or fungal-adjacent creatures. Humans, in particular, the perpetrators of this change, now live in mushroom cocoons, starting at birth. In these cocoons, they are constantly bombarded with psychedelic spores keeping them in a dreamland of a perfect utopia. The humans are aware of the true nature of their reality, but see no need to leave their perfect dream. Each human has the capacity live life exactly how they like. There is no conflict or harm im the real reality- all damage has to be chosen by the dreamer and only affects them. Due to the nature of this fungal evolution, humans can now share dreams, but only chosen by all parties. Overall, the human civilization has evolved to move their consciousness above that of the physical realm and into one of dreams. Tobias C.
