Harmony

What would make this world into a Utopia?

If everyone was in harmony not just with each other, but also with nature.

Why?

I would say that racism must end. The importance of equality is a great source of controversy within our country, and despite the biases and opinions people have against each other, we are all essentially the same, cutting out some separating factors. We must all see each other as people not of race, ethnicity, gender, but as friends and family. We are all part of a community where we should support each other. If this idea is accepted, then I would imagine people of all colors talking peacefully and having a great time together.

Another Idea is that we must have harmony with nature. Although today’s abundance of metropolises is an incredible source of beauty and perfection, that’s just a shell. On the inside, the cost used to make these buildings and factories is not only great, but making these products also costs us greenhouse gases and fossil fuels, both of which enhance global warming and climate change. This issue is an urgent one, and we must take action. Whether it’s through a painting, or a activism movement, I feel that if this idea was taken into account, we can be part of a force to possibly change people’s view on how building major cities and other things, despite their beauty, actually cracks the seamless surface, exposing the detrimental effects they wreak on our beautiful Earth.
