What would make this world into a Utopia?

Why?

Part of the problem with an ant-proof cat food bowl has to do with odors – when I had cats, I regularly placed the food bowl in a larger bowl filled with water to form a kind of moat that the ants could not cross but they could smell that food was out and so hordes of ants were alway scouting everywhere in an attempt to locate the source.
